1. Community Meeting – RESCHEDULED to 2/26/13 – 7pm – Clubhouse - Election results will be revealed, and we will review the budget for the year and the various activities/events (Plant swap! 2. Lake Desire Area Tree Planting – 2/9/13 – 10:30am – 12:30pm – Join Cub Scout Pack #449 to help King County replant trees near the Christian School Road. These trees will replace those non-native trees recently cut down in the area. Contact Heather Smith, Heather@smith.net, to RSVP or Tina Miller, Tina.Miller@kingcounty.gov for details.
3. Printed Lake Desire Newsletter coming soon! Keep your eyes out for your printed Lake Desire Newsletter that should be arriving shortly in your mailbox. This is your opportunity to vote for Board Members, send in your membership dues, see what is planned for activities and clean-ups for the year, and give us your input about what activities you would like to see added in 2013. Wine Tasting Fundraiser – 3/9/13 - 5:30pm – 7pm - You are cordially invited to come and join us on Saturday 3/9/13 at 5:30pm at The Wine Alley in Fairwood for an evening of light snacks and wine tasting. This event will help us raise money for capital improvements at the Clubhouse. $20 per person, we can accommodate only 25 so please RSVP soon by contacting Heather Stafford, 425-917-0336 or staffordlkdesire@gmail.com

1. Board Meeting TONIGHT – 1/15/13 – 7pm – Clubhouse - We will be doing the financial audit, and planning the year. If anyone would like more information on how to get involved, please reply to this email. Neighbors are invited. We would love to have your help! Sign up for Burn Ban notices: There is a way to sign up for email notifications from the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency when burn bans are in effect for the surrounding area, a good idea on a lake like ours where the air stagnates quickly.
